Sicily with Edward Bawden Previous Parrot Press 1997 Walter Hoyle went with Edward Bawden on a sketching trip to Sicily in the Summer of 1951. They went to Enna in the mountains, where visitors were so rare, they were arrested as spies and only released when the Chief of Police realised they were artists, which would be a cause for arrest in many countries. Printed litho, with 4 double page full colour reproductions of the paintings produced, on Mohawk paper by The Aldgate Press, 72 pages, signed and numbered. Limited edition of 350 copies.
